Samer Al-Azem received his J.D. in December 1994 from the University of Houston Law Center. Prior to that, he had received both a B.S. in Industrial Engineering and a Masters of Engineering from Texas A&M University in 1989 and 1991 respectively.

Thereafter, Samer joined McGlinchey Stafford, P.L.L.C. where he was involved in all aspects of that sizeable firm’s commercial litigation and Intellectual Property practice. In 2002, Mr. Al-Azem became a partner at Matthews, Lawson, Bowick & Al-Azem, P.L.L.C. where he primarily practiced in the Intellectual Property arena and handled a myriad of patent, trademark, copyright, trade secret and business tort related litigation.
